Gameloft has posted a video trailer of Shrek Kart for iPhone.
Recently MacNotes spoke with Gameloft at Gamescon…
Shrek Kart is a tribute to Mario Kart Like many racing games from Gameloft is it controlled by motion sensor. Gas will be given automatically slowed down and brought to the turbo button. Here too is via WiFi or Bluetooth can compete against others and that on 15 different routes, one of which will be 3 arenas. September 2009 Gameloft known as the date for the title.

Screenshots of the upcoming Asphalt 5 racing game for iPhone and iPod touch have been posted online by MacNotes.de.
The new version of Asphalt is expected to bring more tracks, cars, and Bluetooth multiplayer.
12 tracks and 33 licensed cars. Asphalt 5 will offer more of everything. The graphic is drilled, there are additional weather effects. I grabbed the Mini Cooper S and heated in Aspen along the route – of course I blew against the snow. The version showed no obvious defects, and will probably not have to wait too long for it. As mentioned in my First Look on iPhone for Gangstar repeated Brach, that asphalt would offer 5 additional DLC. Of particular interest will be in addition to the global rankings and the ability to not only against each other on the network but also act directly via Bluetooth.

EA Mobile has announced that Madden NFL, FIFA Soccer, and many more titles are headed to the iPhone and iPod touch.
MacWorld is reporting that the following titles were announced at the Game Developers Conference.
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour (Spring 2010)
- Wolfenstein RPG
- FIFA Soccer
- Madden NFL
- NBA Live
- Spore Creatures
- Mystery Mania
- American Idol
- Command & Conquer
- SSX (a snowboarding game)

EA Mobile will also release the following board games for the iPhone:
- Connect 4
- Battleship
- Risk
- Monopoly “classic”
- Trivial Pursuit (April 2010)
- Clue.

Firemint’s Real Racing iPhone tops our PocketGamer.biz Quality Index for the second quarter, with a stonking average rating of 9:33 out of 10 from six reviews.
The Index aggregates review scores from nine of the key iPhone game review sites, and to qualify for our chart, games have to have notched up at least three reviews on the sites covered.
Firemint joint second spot takes too with Flight Control, which is neck and neck with smule Leaf’s Trombone: World Stage with a 9:33 average from three reviews.
Other games to score above nine include PopCap’s Peggle (9.11), Toki Tori’s Chilling (9.10), Digital Chocolate’s California Gold Rush (9.07), ngmoco Defense’s Star (9.00) and id Software’s Wolfenstein 3D (9.00).

METHODOLOGY
Sites included in our research for this index were: Pocket Gamer, Pocket Gamer France, IGN Wireless, AirGamer, Mobile Game FAQs, Slide To Play, 148Apps, iPhone Games Network, and Macworld.
For those sites who do not give marks out of 10, they were adjusted (so we doubled the score for sites that mark out of 5, and divided it by 10 for those sites that mark out of 100).

Here’s the lovely iPhone game rumor of the week, although to be fair it looks like more than just a rumor.
The gist is that the massively popular Command & Conquer real-time strategy game series is coming to the iPhone soon – according to Planet Command & Conquer:

ZodTTD has released an update to his Sony Playstation 1 emulator which supports the 3.0 firmware and the iPhone 3GS.
I have made this build of the Sony Playstation 1 emulator, psx4iphone, to support all Apple devices running firmware 3.0 and above. Though keep in mind it will run about 300% faster on the iPhone 3gs, allowing for many games to be played. There are still some things to be worked out in the performance department, namely sound emulation slowing things down. If you can live without sound output, you have a mighty fast emulator.
This package is what I termed a “Donate & Download” Cydia package. Donations are very much appreciated, though are optional. By choosing the free option in the donation amount dropdown, you can receive it for free.
So what’s new in psx4iphone v1.0.0? The user interface is now up-to-date with the likes of the Gameboy Advance emulator, gpSPhone. I have implemented save states in addition to memory card saves. Portrait and landscape modes work. Tons of bug fixes have been made to the emulator itself, and I have been working hard on improving compatibility.

1. i-FunBox สำหรับเข้าไปดึง save file ใน iphone ของเรา โหลดได้ที่ http://i-funbox.com/ (อาจจะใช้โปรแกรม iphoneBrowser หรือ iphone PC Suite ก็ได้ครับ)
2. plist Editor เป็นโปรแกรมสำหรับเปิดพวก plist ไฟล์ที่เปิดด้วย notepad แล้วเป็นภาษาต่างดาวอ่านไม่ได้ ให้โหลดจากที่นี่ครับ http://www.mediafire.com/?k2rtmlhz3aj
ขั้นตอนวิธีโกง
1. ให้เริ่มเกมส์แล้วเล่นไปตามปกติ จนผ่านด่านแรก และผ่านหน้าตอน upgrade ไปก่อน 1 รอบ พอเริ่ม day 2 แล้วกด pause ไว้ซะ (สาเหตุต้องเล่นให้ผ่าน day 1 ไปก่อน เพราะเกมส์จะเริ่มเซฟไฟล์ข้อมูลต่างๆ หลังจากกด confirm ตอนฉากที่ให้อัพเกรดเวทย์ต่างๆ เรียบร้อยแล้ว)
2. เสียบสาย usb กดปุ่ม home ที่ iphone ออกจากเกมส์ไปก่อน แล้วไปที่ ifunbox เข้าไปที่โฟลเดอร์ /private/var/mobile/Applications/XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX/Library/Preferences (XXXXXX-XXXX-XXX-XXXXXXXXXXX นี่เป็นตัวเลขไม่เหมือนกัน ให้หาโฟลเดอร์ชื่อ WizardDefense.app ข้างในเป็นหลัก)

5. กลับเข้าเกมส์ไปใหม่ เลือก continue เริ่มเกมส์ต่อ จะพบว่ามีค่า soul ตามจำนวนที่เราตั้งไว้ คราวนี้ก็สามารถใช้วิญญาณซื้อหรืออัพเกรดเวทย์มนต์ต่างๆ ได้เต็มทีเลยครับ

During the WWDC ‘09 keynote address, Apple announced that the new iPhone 3G S would be on average two times faster than the current iPhone 3G. What they didn’t reveal is how they were able to accomplish such a task. Apple still hasn’t officially stated what type of inner workings the iPhone 3G S is sporting, but apparently there is no need to wait for Apple to say a word.
According to MacRumors, T-Mobile.nl has posted some technical specifications about the iPhone 3G S which reveals that the device sports a 600MHz processor and 256MB of RAM. In comparison, the current iPhone 3G uses a 412MHz processor with 128MB of RAM while the current generation iPod touch uses a 532MHz processor with 128MB of RAM as well. Both of these devices use the ARMv6 chip.
Another source has given even more specific information and even a complete analysis of the new device. Anandtech has confirmed that the iPhone 3G S uses a 600MHz processor and 256MB of RAM, but they give even more specific information, stating that the device will be sporting the new ARM Cortex A8, the same processor the Palm Pre uses. They also indicate that the iPhone 3G S uses the PowerVR SGX graphics processing unit, once again just like the Palm Pre.
There is so much that can be said about the iPhone 3G S versus the Palm Pre, but I will leave it up to all of you to fight that battle. I will be right here on the sidelines if you need me.
