This tutorial will show you how to jailbreak and unlock your 2G iPhone on the 3.0 iPhone firmware.

You can find the 3G version of this tutorial: here.

Unfortunately PwnageTool is not available for Windows yet. You will need to use QuickPwn to jailbreak. You can find those instructions here when they become available.

Make sure you have iTunes 8.2 then continue…

Alright, first make a folder on the desktop. In it, you will need a couple of things. The two bootloader files 3.9BL, 4.6BL, and Pwnage 3.0, found here

You will also need the 3.0 iPhone firmware.
3.0.0 (2G): iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

When downloading the IPSW file, it is best to download it with Firefox!

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop with all the required files listed above.

Step Two
Double click to mount the PwnageTool dmg.

Drag the PwnageTool icon to the Pwnage folder then launch it.

Click Ok if presented with a warning.

Step Three
Make sure you click Expert Mode from the top menu.

Step Four
Select your iPhone or iPod from the three devices shown. Notice a large checkmark appears over the selected device. Then click the blue arrow button at the bottom right.

Step Five
You will be brought to the “Browse for IPSW” page. On my laptop, it automatically found the IPSW. If PwnageTool doesn’t automatically find the ipsw file you can click Browse for IPSW… button.

Click to select the found IPSW file, a checkmark will appear next to it. Then click the blue arrow button to continue.

Step Six
You will then be brought to a menu with 7 choices. Click to select General then click the blue arrow button.

The General settings allows you to decide the partition size. Click activate the phone and Disable partition wipe-out. Click the blue arrow button.

***If the Enable Baseband checkbox is not greyed out, checkmark it. This will allow the unlock to occur!***
***For the 3.0 firmware you may have to increase the size of your root partition slightly for the IPSW build to be successful. 590MB worked just fine for me***

In the Bootneuter settings, click Neuter bootloader, Unlock baseband, and Auto-Delete BootNeuter.app. It is not necessary to upgrade the bootloader unless you are really feeling the need to be on 4.6. Click the blue arrow button to continue.

The Cydia settings menu allows you to create custom packages so you do not have to manually install the necessary them later.

Click to select the Download packages tab. Then click the Refresh button to display all the available packages. Double clicking the package you want will download it and make it available in the Select Packages tab.

Checkmark the ones you want then Click the blue arrow button.

The Custom Packages Settings menu displays listed package settings for your custom IPSW. For know leave these settings as is. Click the blue arrow button to continue.

The Custom Logos Settings menu allows you to add your own images as boot logos. Click the Browse button to select your Boot logo and Recovery logo.

Remember the rules for them: RGB or Grayscale format with Alpha channel and dimension bellow 320×480. If you would like to use the iClarified ones they can be found here: Boot Logo, Recovery Logo

Click the blue arrow button to continue.

Step Seven
You are now ready to build your custom firmware. Click the build button to select it, then click the blue arrow button.

Step Eight
If this is the first time doing this, you will be asked to upload the 3.9 and 4.6 BL files. When prompted to search the web, click no.

You will prompted to browse for the 3.9BL file. Click Yes then select the file(BL-39.bin) from the Pwnage folder you created on your desktop and click the Open button.

Select the file in the Pwnage folder on your desktop and click the Open button.

Do the same for 4.6.

***: After loading the 4.6 BL you may be asked if you’re a legit user. If you legally have ATT or an iPhone plan in a different country, clicking yes will not unlock the iPhone and activate it as your legal plan already activates it and there is no need for an unlock. However if you wish to keep the iPhone unlocked, when asked if you’re a legit iPhone user, click no

Step Nine
After both are found. You will be asked to save your custom .ipsw file. Save it to your Pwnage folder on the desktop.

Step Ten
Your custom IPSW is now being built. Please allow up to 10 minutes.

If prompted enter your Administrator password and click the OK button.

When prompted if your iPhone has been Pwned before, we clicked No. It allows for a more thorough restore.

You will be asked to turn off the device. Make sure it is connected to the USB port.

Step Eleven
Be ready to follow directions now. It will ask you to hold the home button and the power button for 10 seconds. Then, you will have to release the power button and hold the home button for 10 seconds to enter DFU.

If you fail, it will show you a message. Click Yes. Unplug the iPhone from the USB. Turn it off, then turn it back on. Plug it back into the USB and turn off the iPhone when prompted.

When done correctly, Pwnage 2.0 will display a message telling your that it successfully entered DFU mode. iTunes will also pop-up.

Step Twelve
In iTunes, hold the Alt/Option key and click Restore.

Step Thirteen
Navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop using the dialog window that appears. Select the custom IPSW that was created (iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Custom_Restore.ipsw) and click the Open button.

Step Fourteen
Once the restore has completed, it will restart your iPhone. The phone will then launch BootNeuter.app to unlock your device.

Please allow 5 minutes for this to complete. Your iPhone will restart once completed.

วิธี Sync iPhone กับคอมหลายๆเครื่อง

ปกติ แล้ว sync กับคอมพิวเตอร์เครื่องเดียวจะดีที่สุด ไม่สับสน แต่ถ้าต้องการจะ sync กับคอมพิวเตอร์ 2 เครื่องจริงๆ ก็มีวิธีครับ และวิธีนี้ถ้าจะให้ดีควร sync music/video แบบ Manually managed

มีวิธีนี้เป็นอีกทางเลือกครับ

วิธี sync iPhone กับคอมพิวเตอร์ 2 เครื่อง (หรือหลายเครื่องก็ยังได้) สามารถทำได้โดยแก้ไข Library Persistent ID ที่ iTunes เก็บไว้ให้ตรงกัน ID ที่ว่าจะถูกเก็บอยู่ในไฟล์ 2 ไฟล์ ไฟล์หนึ่งเป็น text อีกไฟล์หนึ่งเป็น binary เมื่อแก้ ID ของเครื่องที่สองให้ตรงกับเครื่องที่หนึ่ง ก็จะสามารถ sync ได้ทั้งสองเครื่อง ให้ทำตามนี้ครับ

สมมติให้ iPhone sync อยู่กับคอมพิวเตอร์ A อยู่เดิม และต้องการให้ sync กับคอมพิวเตอร์ B ด้วย

เนื่องจากเป็นการไปยุ่งกับไฟล์ของ iTunes ดังนั้น การทำควรรอบคอบระมัดระวังด้วย ถ้าจะให้ดีก็ backup ไฟล์ที่ไปยุ่งไว้ด้วย

ถ้าใช้ MAC เครื่องหลัก: [เครื่อง A]

1.เปิด finder ขึ้นมาจาก Dock ครับ [คลิกไอค่อนดังภาพ]

2.เลือก Go menu เลือก go to folder

3. ใส่ ~/Music/iTunes ลงในช่อง แล้วกด Go

4. double cilck ไฟล์นี้ iTunes Music Library.xml แล้วเลือก open it in TextEdit

5. ดูค่า Library Persistent ID key 16 ตัว ตามภาพ แล้ว copy เก็บเอาไว้ใช้ในขั้นตอนต่อไปครับ

ถ้าใช้ WINDOWSเป็นเครื่องหลัก : [เครื่อง A]

1. ไปที่ start เลือก music

2. double click โฟลเดอร์ itune

3.Double click ไฟล์ iTunes Music Library.xml เปิดโดยใช้ Notepad

4.ดูค่า Library Persistent ID key ตามภาพ แล้วCopy เก็บไว้ครับ ไว้ใช้ในขั้นตอนถัดไป

ดังภาพเป็นเลข 20F830293962CBA4

ถ้าเครื่องที่จะนำมา sync เป็น MAC : Mac [เครื่อง B] ทำตามนี้

1.เปิด finder ขึ้นมาจาก Dock ครับ [คลิกไอค่อนดังภาพ]

2.เลือก Go menu เลือก go to folder

3. ใส่ ~/Music/iTunes ลงในช่อง แล้วกด Go

4. backup ไฟล์ iTunes Music Library.xml และ iTunes Library โดยกด Command+c then Command+v บนคีย์บอร์ด

5.Double click ไฟล์ iTunes Music Library.xml

6.เปลี่ยน Library Persistent ID ให้เหมือนกับเครื่อง A ครับ และ save ไฟล์ครับ

เช่น ถ้าเลขLibrary Persistent IDของเครื่อง A เป็น 20F830293962CBA4

ก็ให้เปลี่ยนเครื่องที่ B จาก D501EB4887717F8F —> 20F830293962CBA4

7. เปิด iTunes Library โดย HexEditor download HexEdit from downloads

8. หลังจากเปิดHexEditor ให้ search ใส่ Library Persistent ID เลขเดิมก่อนเปลี่ยนของเครื่อง B ดังภาพ

9. หลัง search เจอดังภาพแล้ว ให้นำเลข Library Persistent ID ของเครื่องที่ A มาใส่ทับเลยครับ อย่าใช้วิธี copy/paste แต่ให้พิมพ์ลงไปด้วย keyboard เมื่อแทนที่เสร็จแล้ว save ไฟล์

10. หลังจากนั้นเปิด itune ต่อ ไอโฟนกับคอมพิวเตอร์เครื่อง B เพื่อที่จะ sync

โดยติ๊กที่ช่อง Manually manage music and videos ในแท๊บ sammary ครับ

แค่นี้ข้อมูลก็ไม่หายแล้วครับ

ถ้าเครื่องที่จะนำมา sync เป็น WINDOWS : window [เครื่อง B] ทำตามนี้

1. ไปที่ start เลือก music

2. double click โฟลเดอร์ itune

3.backup ไฟล์ iTunes Music Library.xml และ iTunes Library.itl โดยกด press Control+c then Control+v บน keyboard

4. เปิดไฟล์ iTunes Music Library.xml โดย notepad

เปลี่ยน Library Persistent ID ให้เหมือนกับเครื่อง A ครับ และ save ไฟล์ครับ

เช่น ถ้าเลขLibrary Persistent ID ของเครื่อง A เป็น D501EB4887717F8F

ก็ให้เปลี่ยนเครื่องที่ B จาก 20F830293962CBA4 —> D501EB4887717F8F

5.เปิด iTunes Library.itl โดย HexEditor download HexEdit from downloads

6. ให้ search ใส่เลข Library Persistent ID เลขของเครื่อง B เลขเดิมก่อนเปลี่ยน ดังภาพ

7. หลัง search เจอดังภาพแล้ว ให้นำเลข Library Persistent ID ของเครื่อง A มาใส่ทับเลยครับ อย่าใช้วิธี copy/paste แต่ให้พิมพ์ลงไปด้วย keyboard เมื่อแทนที่เสร็จแล้ว save ไฟล์

8.หลังจากนั้นเปิด itune ต่อ ไอโฟนกับคอมพิวเตอร์เครื่อง B เพื่อที่จะ sync

แค่นี้ข้อมูลก็ไม่หายแล้วครับ

ปัญหา กวนใจที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นจากการ sync คอมพิวเตอร์ 2 เครื่อง คือ เวลาเราลบ App อะไรออกไป และ sync กับเครื่องหนึ่งแล้ว ก่อนจะไป sync กับอีกเครื่อง ควรจะลบ App ที่เราไม่ต้องการนั้น ออกจาก iTunes เสียก่อน (หรือจะติ๊กออกโดยไม่ลบก็ได้) มิฉะนั้น มันจะ sync กลับเข้าไปใน iPhone ใหม่ให้เรารำคาญใจ เพราะต้องลบกันอีกเที่ยว

การแก้ไข ไฟล์ ipa เพื่อให้ใช้ได้กับทุก Fw.
เดี๋ยวนี้มี ipa บางตัวทำมาเพื่อให้ใช้ได้กับ Fw ใหม่ๆ
ทำให้ Fw เก่าๆ sync ไม่ได้
เรามาลองแก้กันตามนี้ครับ

1. โหลดไฟล์ ipa ที่ต้องการมา
2. เปิดไฟล์ ipa ด้วย winrar หรือ winzip
3. หาไฟล์ info.plist ซึ่งจะอยู่ใน
payload/ชื่อโปรแกรม.app/info.plist
4. Extract ไฟล์นี้ออกมา แล้วอย่าเพิ่งปิดหน้าต่าง winrar นะครับ
5. เปิดโดยใช้ Notepad
6. หา บรรทัดที่บอกว่า
[key]MinimumOSVersion[/key]
[string]2.2.1[/string]
7. แก้ใน [string]2.2.1[/string] เป็น Fw ที่ต้องการ
ผมลองแก้เป็น 2.2 กับ 2.1 นะครับ(ต่ำกว่านี้ยังไม่ได้ลอง)

8. แก้เสร็จแล้วทำการ save
9. นำไฟล์ info.plist ลากกลับเข้าไปที่หน้าต่าง winrar ที่เปิดไว้
10. ปิด winrar

เสร็จแล้วลอง ลากใส่ itune แล้ว sync กันเลย

พื้นฐานการแก้ปัญหาการ Update และ Restore ที่เจอ error

ปัญหา ของการ Update และ การ Restore Firmware ไม่สำเร็จ และส่งผลให้เกิด Error messages บน iPhone และ iPod Touch

เมื่อ iPhone หรือ iPod Touch ต้องทำการ Update หรือ Restore โดยใช้ Program iTunes ในการทำ, บางกรณีจะปรากฎ error message ขึ้นในขั้นตอนของ

การ ทำ และส่งผลให้การ update หรือ restore หยุดการทำงานลง. และส่งผลที่ตัว iPhone หรือ iPod Touch จะปรากฎสัญลักษณ์ “Connect to iTunes” ขึ้นมาดังภาพ

ด้านล่าง.

ข้อความใน error message บน iTunes จะแสดงผล Error Numbers ต่างๆออกมา (ตัว Error ยังมีมากกว่าที่ปรากฎตรงนี้)

ลองสร้างความเข้าใจพื้นฐานในการแก้ปัญหาเหล่านั้น มี 6 ข้อ

1.การ Update to the latest version of iTunes

ตรวจ สอบ Program iTunes ว่าเป้น Version ใหม่สุดหรือไม่ ( New Version ย่อมจะมีการแก้ไขข้อบกพร่องต่างๆ ของ Version เก่าเสมอ ) เปิด program iTunes:
Windows: Choose Help > Check for Updates
Mac: Choose iTunes > Check for Updates

ใน กรณีมีการให้ Update to iTunes available, แนะนำว่าควร install the update. การ Update Computer ต้องอยู่ในสถานะที่จะ connection กับ

Internet, และบางกรณีที่มีการตั้งค่า Internet security settings และ configured ป้องกันต่างๆ อาจจะส่งผลให้ iTunes ติดต่อจาก communicating กับ

Apple ไม่ได้, ตัว iTunes จะทำการเตือน iTunes update server could not be contacted.

ทำการแก้ปัญหาตรงนี้ก่อนเพื่อให้ การเชื่อมต่อสมบูรณ์ และทำการ update อีกครั้ง

2.การRestart เครื่อง computer

บาง กรณีการ restart computer เพื่อไปลบค่า certain issues ที่ iPhone or iPod touch ในกรณีที่ restore และเกิด Error มาแล้ว. เมื่อ restart

computer กลับมาแล้วให้ลองทำ restore iPhone หรือ iPod Touch อีกครั้ง.

3.การปรับ USB Troubleshooting

เปลี่ยน การเชื่อมต่อ ( Mac หรือ Windows PC. USB 2.0 ports) iPhone or iPod touch สลับการต่อ USB port ไปในตำแหน่ง built-in ที่อยู่บน computer

จะ ทำงานได่สมบูรณ์ที่สุด. ถ้าต่อ iPhone or iPod touch ที่ตำแหน่ง USB ports ด้านหน้าของ computer, ให้เปลี่ยนไป connecting USB ports ที่ด้านหลัง

Tips and Tricks

1. Make sure the connector is aligned with the port before you insert it.
2. Insert the connector straight and completely into the port.
3. Make sure the connector is not reversed and being forcefully inserted into the port.
4. Check the cable connector. Is it dirty, dusty, or “contaminated”?
5. Look at the port. Does it look OK?
6. Disconnect any noncompliant devices or cables that are not in use.If a device does not work when connected through a

second device, try connecting it directly to the computer.Use a cable or device you’re sure works well.

Tip: Ports are keyed, which means the cable can only be inserted one way. Check that you are inserting the cable into the

port with the correct orientation.

Shut down the computer.Disconnect all devices and all other cables, except the keyboard and mouse cable.Disconnect the

computer from the power outlet and wait for 3 to 5 minutes.Plug the computer back in and turn it on.Reconnect the device

(s) (one at a time if there is more than one) and test. Test with each port if you have more than one.If an individual thirdparty

device leads to the issue, contact the manufacturer for more information and further assistance.

4.การRestore กับเครื่อง computer อื่น.

ถ้า ได้ทำการ Restore แล้วตามที่กล่าวมาแล้ว, ให้ทดสอบการ restore บนเครื่อง computer อื่นๆ. และที่สำคัญ computer ที่จะทำการ restoring ต้องมี USB 2.0

ports, และ New version of iTunes, และเชื่อมต่อโดยตรงกับ computer นั้น.

ขั้นตอนพิเศษ Advanced ที่ควรทำ

ปัญหาใหญ่ที่พบและแก้ได้โดยขั้นตอนนี้ ต้องอยู่ในสถานะของ Admin access.

ความ สำคัญของ Administrator บน computer. จะมีผลอย่างมากในการใช้สืทธิ์ ของ Process ค่าต่างๆ และการอนุญาตให้ Application ทำงานได้สมบูรณ์ ถ้าไม่มั้นใจว่า

5. บน Mac หยุดการทำงานของ Classic environment

To stop the Classic environment:Choose Apple menu > System Preferences.
Choose View > Classic.
Click the Stop button to stop the Classic environment.
Try to restore iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes.

6.Restore ใหม่บน new user account บน Computer

สร้าง User account ใหม่บน computer และทำการ Login ใน New User Account พื่อทำการ restore. Program iTunes จะทำการ download new

version และ software restore file. หลังจากการสร้าง New user บน Computer เสร็จแล้ว, Login iTune account และทำการ Restore iPhone or

iPod Touch ใหม่ภายใต้ new user account.

TIP การสร้าง New User Account.

Windows Vista and Windows XP

เลือก Start menu, เลือก Control Panel.
เลือก User Accounts.
เลือก Create a new account ทำตามขั้นตอน instructions ไปจนเสร็จ.
เมื่อสร้าง new account เสร็จแล้ว, เลือก Log Off ในตำแหน่ง Start menu.
เลือก Log in New user account ที่สร้างขึ้นมาใหม่.

Mac OS X

From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose View > Accounts.
Click the “+” (you may need to authenticate to be able to click this).
Give the new user a name and short name and enter a password.
Select the checkbox for “Allow user to administer this computer”. This makes the user an administrator user.
Click Create Account.

ถ้าทำอย่างด้านบนแล้วยังไม่ได้ เรามาทำกันแบบAdvance ด้านล่างกัน

TIP ของการแก้ไขข้อบกพร่อง Restore Files ต่างๆที่มีปัญหา

บาง กรณีที่พบและเป็นสาเหตุของปัญหาจะมาจาก .ipsw file. รวมอยู่ด้วย “.ipsw” files เป็น file ที่ iTunes ใช้สำหรับการ restore iPod or iPhone. File เกิดข้อ

การลบ File .ipsw ยังไม่สามารถแก้ปัญหาได้ , อาจจะเกิดจากสาเหตุ user content or permissions.

ทำการ Remove และ reinstall iTunes รวมไปถึง Apple Mobile Device Support.

ทำการ Uninstall iTunes and Apple Mobile Device support. ออกจาก Computer จากนั้น reinstall iTunes ใหม่โดยใช้ Version ใหม่สุด.
หล้งจากนั้นลองทำการ restore iPhone or iPod touch ใหม่.

ทำการ Update or reinstall Windows USB drivers

8. ตำแหน่งของ iPhone or iPod Touch จะปรากฎอยู่ใน list. บางกรณีจะเห็นเครื่อง (!) “iPhone or iPod Touch ” . If no such entries are present,

บนตัว “USB Mass Storage Device.”

Note: กรณี “X” ปรากฎขึ้นในชื่อ iPhone or ipod Touch ใน Device Manager แสดงสถานะว่า device นั้นถูก disabled ไว้. ต้องทำการเปลี่ยนสถานะเป็น

enable บน device นั้น, คลิก Mouse ปุ่มขวาใน Device Manager และทำการเลือก Enable ใน shortcut menu.

ทำการ Update the USB driver

1. คลิก Mouse ปุ่มขวาใน iPhone or iPod Touch Device Manager แล้วเลือก Update Driver ใน shortcut menu.
2. ในส่วนนี้ Hardware Update Wizard จะปรากฎออกมา, ให้เลือกตอบ “Yes, this time only” เพื่อให้ Windows ทำการเชื่อมต่อในส่วนของ Windows Update

Website. หล้งจากนี้เลือก Next.

3. เลือก “Install the software automatically (Recommended)” และเลือก Next. ตัว Windows จะทำการค้นหาตัว updated drivers และ installs

ในสิ่งที่พบ. กรณีตัว Windows ไม่สามารถหาตัว updated drivers ในขั้นตอนนี้ได้, ให้ทำต่อที่ข้อ 4.
4. เลือก Back.
5. เลือก “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)” และเลือก Next.
6. เลือก “Search for the best driver in these locations.”
7. เลือก “Include this location in the search” และพิมพ์ข้อความนี้ลงในช่อง: C:\Windows\INF

8. เลือก Next. Windows จะทำการค้นหา location ของ drivers และจะ installs ในสิ่งที่พบ. กรณีตัว Windows ไม่สามารถหาตัว updated drivers ในขั้นตอนนี้

ได้, ต้องทำการ reinstall USB drivers ใหม่ในขั้นตอนด้านล่าง.

การทำ Reinstall USB driver

1. คลิก Mouse ปุ่มขวาใน iPhone or iPod Touch ใน Device Manager และทำการเลือก Uninstall from the shortcut menu.

2. ในกรอบข้อความ, เลือก OK.
3. ใน Device Manager window, คลิก Mouse ปุ่มขวาใน Universal Serial Bus controllers และทำการเลือก Scan for hardware changes ใน

shortcut menu.

ตัว Windows automatically reinstalls the necessary USB drivers และทำการ remount the iPhone or iPod Touch

Set Permission แบบง่ายๆด้วย Mobile Terminal และMobile Finder

ยกตัวอย่าง
การเพิ่มรายชื่อ Contact ไม่ได้ ดังนั้นต้องไป Set Petmission เป็น 777 ดังรูป

วิธีที่ 1
ติดตั้ง Mobile Terminal จาก Cydia จากนั้นทำดังนี้
- เปิด Mobile Terminal

- กด return จนกว่าจะขึ้น ตัวอย่าง iPhone:~mobile$

- พิมพ์ su กด return

- พิมพ์ alpine กด return ระหว่างพิมพ์คำว่า alpine จะไม่มีข้อความใดๆปรากฏ

- จะเปลียนสถานะ User เป็น Root ดังตัวอย่าง iPhone: /var/mobile root#
- พิมพ์ cd /var/mobile/Library กด return

- พิมพ์ chmod 777 /var/mobile/Library/AddressBook;chmod 777 * กด return

-จิ้มที่จอดำๆค้าง เลือก Exit แล้วกด return เพื่อออกจาก Terminal

วิธีที่ 2
ติดตั้ง Mobile Finder จาก Cydia จากนั้นทำดังนี้
- เปิด Mobile Finder

- ในที่นี้คือ Permission เป็น 777

- ในที่นี้คือ Permission เป็น 777

อ่านเสริมคั่นเวลา
Permission หรือ chmod (Change Mode) มีพื้นฐานมาจากเลขฐานสอง และเป็นคำสั่งพื้นฐานของOS ตระกูล UNIX หรือแม้แต่ LINUX รวมถึง MAC OSX ด้วย ซึ่งจะกำหนดสิทธิ์ในการเข้าถึงไฟล์หรือไดเร็คทอรี โดยจะประกอบด้วย User(Owner) , Group และ Other(Everyone)

ตัวอย่าง chmod 777 ไฟล์หรือไดเร็คทอรี เช่น chmod 777 AddressBook เป็นต้น

777 มาจากดังนี้
User(Owner) เป็น 7 คือ สามารถ Read Write Execute ได้
Group เป็น 7 คือ สามารถ Read Write Execute ได้
Other(Everyone) เป็น 7 คือ สามารถ Read Write Execute ได้

Read = 4
Write = 2
Execute = 1

นำมาบวกตัวเลข Read + Write + Execute = 4 + 2 + 1 = 7

การ Backup iTunes Library

การ Back Up iTunes Library นี้มีผลดีในหลายกรณี ที่อาจทำให้ข้อมูลบน Computer เกิดการเสียหายไป สามารถนำกลับ Restore ใหม่ได้
การจะเริ่มทำการ Back Up ควรจะรวบรวม ทุก Data item libraryไว้ที่เดียวกัน
Step 1: Consolidating Your iTunes Library

1. เปิด program iTune และไปที่ Preferences
[*] Mac: เลือกไปที่ iTunes > Preferences.
[*] Windows: เลือกไปที่ Edit > Preferences.

2. เลือก Advanced.

3. แน่ใจว่าได้เลือกตำแหน่ง “Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library” มีเครื่องถูกในช่องนี้

4. ตอบ OK
Note: เมื่อคลิก OK แล้ว, iTunes จะ Copy files Music ต่างๆที่ไม่ได้อยู่ใน iTunes Music folder ให้, แต่ File ต่างยังอยู่ที่ Folder เก่าเช่นเดิม, เมื่อเสร็จขั้นตอนนี่แล้วสามารถลบ Files ต่างๆออกได้.

5. เลือก File > Library > Consolidate Library.

6. จะมีข้อความปรากฎ “Consolidating your library will copy all of your music into the iTunes music folder. This cannot be undone.”

7. เลือก Consolidate.

Step 2: Copy iTunes folder to your external hard drive

ขั้น ตอนการ Copy All Data Files item จาก iTunes library (including the iTunes Library file that holds all your playlists, playcounts, ratings, and other data) ไปสู่ external hard drive,

1. ปิด Program iTunes.

2. หาตำแหน่ง external hard drive.
[*] Mac OS X: On the desktop or Finder sidebar.
[*] Windows: In My Computer

3. หาตำแหน่ง iTunes folder:
โดยปรกติ default, iTunes folder จะอยู่ใน:
[*] Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music
[*] Windows: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\

4. เปิด program iTune และไปที่ Preferences
[*] Mac: Choose iTunes > Preferences.
[*] Windows: Choose Edit > Preferences.

5. เลือก Advanced.

6. ตำแหน่ง your iTunes folder จะปรากฎใน iTunes Music folder location ในกรอบที่รูปด้านล่าง

7. เมื่อทราบตำแหน่งของ iTunes folder แล้ว ก็สามารถ Drag iTunes folder ไปสู่r external hard drive ได้เลย. Program จะทำการ Copy Files ต่างไปสู่ external hard drive ตรงนี้อาจจะใช้เวลามากน้อยขึ้นอยู่กับ Files Data item ต่างๆ.

8. เมื่อการ transfer complete, ตัว Back Up iTunes Library ได้สำเร็จลงแล้วสู่ตัว external hard drive

มาลองทำ Theme กันครับ
1. เริ่มต้นลง winterboard จาก cydia ก่อนนะครับ

2. เราต้องจัดวาง Folder ของ Theme ที่จะใช้กับ winterboardให้ถูกต้องตามนี้ครับ

2.1 เริ่มต้น สร้าง Folder ขึ้นมาตั้งชื่ออะไรก็ได้ครับ ในที่นี้ผมจะตั้ง xxx.theme

2.2 สร้าง Folder ชื่อ Icons เอาไว้ใน Folder xxx.theme

2.3 เริ่มแรกเราเลือกภาพที่เราต้องการมาทำเป็น Wallpaper โดยต้องมีขนาด 320*480

เสร็จแล้วทำการ save เป็น Wallpaper.png โดยทำการเก็บไว้ใน Folder xxx.theme

2.4 ต่อมาหาภาพที่จะนำมาทำเป็น Dock หรือที่วาง Icon แถวล่าง
โดยมีขนาด 320*91

เสร็จแล้วทำการ save เป็น Dock.png โดยทำการเก็บ
ไว้ใน Folder xxx.theme เช่นกัน

ทีนี้เราก็จะมี Wallpaper กับ Dock แล้ว

2.5 การสร้าง Icon ขนาด Icon ส่วนใหญ่ที่ใช้กันอยู่ที่ 60*60 – 80*80 แล้วแต่ความชอบ
เลือกหรือสร้างรูปเพื่อนำมาใช้เป็น Icon (ในที่นี้ผมจะใช้ขนาด 60*60)

ในการตั้งชื่อไฟล์เราจะนำไปแทน Icon ของโปรแกรมอะไรก็ให้ตั้งชื่อตามนั้น
เช่น โปรแกรมโทรศัพท์ > Phone.png
โปรแกรม iPod > iPod.png
โปรแกรม Text > Text.png
อธิบายง่ายๆคือดูชื่อจากใต้ Icon ของแต่ละโปรแกรมในเครื่อง iPhone ของเรา

(ในที่นี้ผมจะนำไปแทน Icon โปรแกรม Photos)
เสร็จแล้วให้ saveไฟล์ที่ได้ไว้ที่ Folder Icons ที่อยู่ใน Folder xxx.theme
ทำแบบนี้ทุก Icon ที่เราอยากจะเปลี่ยนนะครับ

2.6 นำ Folder xxx.theme ไปวางที่ /Library/Themes ใน iphone

เสร็จแล้วเข้าไปเลือกในโปรแกรม winterboard ครับ
จัดวาง Iconตามชอบ

3. ต่อไปเราจะมาปรับเปลี่ยน รูป Signal Bars , Wifi Bars , Edge Bar

3.1 ผมจะใช้ Folder คือ xxx.theme เดิมในการสร้างนะครับ เราต้องสร้าง Folder
เพิ่มคือ Folder ชื่อ Bundles เอาไว้ใน Folder xxx.theme

เสร็จแล้วสร้าง Folderชื่อ com.apple.springboard ไว้ใน Folder Bundles อีกทีครับ

3.2 เรามาเริ่มที่ Signal ก่อน Signal มีทั้งหมด 2 ที่นะครับรูปแบบเดิมที่มากับเครื่อง
ทั้งสองที่นี้จะแสดงกันคนละสีนะครับคือ ที่แรกอยู่ในหน้าแรก

หรือที่เราเรียกกันว่า หน้า Home
ที่ที่สองคือในหน้าโปรแกรมต่างๆ

ต่อไปเราสร้างหรือนำไฟล์ภาพที่ต้องการมาใช้โดยจะต้องมีทั้งหมด 12ไฟล์
คือแบ่งเป็นที่ละ 6 ไฟล์ (ในที่นี้ผมขอใช้แบบเดียวกันทั้งสองที่นะครับ)
เริ่มที่ 6 ไฟล์แรกที่แสดงในหน้า Home (ไฟล์ทั้ง 6 แสดงถึงสัญญาณที่แตกต่างกัน)
ขนาดของไฟล์จะมีขนาด 18*20
เมื่อได้แล้วให้ทำการ save เป็นชื่อตามนี้

เสร็จแล้วเข้าไปเลือกในโปรแกรม winterboard ครับ

4. ทีนี้เรามาทำ หน้า Lock Screen กัน
4.1 เหมือนเดิมผมจะใช้ Folder คือ xxx.theme เดิมในการสร้างนะครับ
หน้า Lock Screen มีส่วนประกอบ 2 ส่วน คือ ภาพ LockBackgroundกับ Slider Icon
เริ่มจากการเลือกรูปนำมาเป็นภาพ Lock Screen ขนาด 320*480

เสร็จแล้วทำการ save เป็น LockBackground.png

โดยทำการเก็บไว้ใน Folder xxx.theme

4.2 สร้าง Folder ชื่อ com.apple.TelephonyUI ใส่ไว้ใน Folder Bundles ที่เราสร้างมาตอนข้อ 3.1

4.3 Slider Icon มีทั้งหมด 3 ไฟล์ ขนาด 50*50
สร้างหรือเลือกไฟล์ที่จะนำมาใช้

เสร็จแล้ว save ชื่อตามนี้

ถ้าใครไม่ชอบให้มีราง Slider ให้สร้างภาพเป็น Transparent
เสร็จแล้ว save ชื่อตามนี้

4.4 นำ Folder xxx.theme ไปวางที่ /Library/Themes ใน iphone

เสร็จแล้วเข้าไปเลือกในโปรแกรม winterboard ครับ

โปรแกรมนี้เป็นการค้นพบ โดยบังเอิญของผมครับ

โปรแกรมนี้ สามารถ backup source จาก cydia

และยังสามารถ back app,theme[ที่ลงจากcydia] ได้อีกด้วย

โปรแกรมนี้ชื่อว่า AptBackup ครับ

รายละเอียดโปรแกรมครับ :

สำหรับ ท่านที่คุ้นเคยกับ Cydia มาตั้งแต่ไอโฟนเฟิร์มแวร์ 1.x อาจจะคุ้นเคยกับวิธี backup และ restore โปรแกรมต่างๆ ที่ติดตั้งผ่าน Cydia Package โดย command line กันไปบ้างแล้ว สำหรับหลายท่าน ที่ไม่คุ้นเคยกับ command line และการพิมพ์คำสั่ง ที่มีสัญลักษณ์เยอะๆ ก็คงจะรู้สึกว่ายุ่งยากพอสมควร ล่าสุดคุณ Chris Featherstone ก็ได้พัฒนาโปรแกรม AptBackup นี้ขึ้นมา โดยหลักการ ก็คือการสร้าง list โปรแกรมที่ติดตั้งผ่าน Cydia รวมถึง package sources ต่างๆ ออกมาเป็นไฟล์ แล้วเก็บเอาไว้ในข้อมูลของไอโฟน เวลาที่ทำการ backup iPhone/iPod touch ด้วยโปรแกรม iTunes ก็จะมีการรวมเอาไฟล์ดังกล่าวเข้าไปด้วย หากมีการ restore หรือ update firmware แล้วทำการ restore data ที่ได้ backup ไว้กลับมา ไฟล์ดังกล่าว ก็จะกลับมาด้วย เพียงแค่รันโปรแกรมนี้ ก็จะทำการดาวน์โหลดและติดตั้งโปรแกรมตามรายการทั้งหมดทันที แต่มีข้อแม้ตรงที่สามารถ restore ข้อมูลดังกล่าว ภายหลังจาก Restore data จาก iTunes เท่านั้นครับ ไม่สามารถสั่ง restore ในสภาวะปกติครับ

มาเริ่มกันเลยครับ

2.ลงโปรแกรม AptBackup จาก source bigboss ครับ ไม่ต้อง add อะไรทั้งนั้นครับ เพราะ source bigboss มีตั้งแต่แรกอยู่แล้วครับ

3.หลังจากลงเสร็จ เข้าโปรแกรม AptBackup

4.กด backup ด้านในโปรแกรมครับ รอมัน back up ดังรูปครับ

5.ใช้โปรแกรม จัดการไฟล์ ไป back up ไฟล์

โดยเข้าไปที่ ~/var/mobile/Library/Preferences

backup ไฟล์ดังนี้ครับ

1. aptbackup.cydiasources.tgz
2. aptbackup_dpkg-packages.txt
3. aptbackup_openssh.tgz

6. เปิด itune ขึ้นมาครับ sync iphone ให้ itune backup ให้เสร็จครับ ถ้ากลัวมันไม่ backup ให้ไปคลิกขวาที่ตัว iphone แล้ว กด back up ครับ

7.Restore original Firmware ตามที่ต้องการครับ ย้ำoriginal Firmware นะครับครับ ห้ามใช้ custom firmware ครับ ถ้าใช้ Custom Firmware ตอน restore อาจมีปัญหาได้ครับ

8.Jailbreak ให้เรียบร้อยโดยใช้ QuickPWN ครับ

9.หลัง jailbreak เสร็จ ไปที่ cydia

ลงโปรแกรมดังนี้

1.openSSH
2.Aptbackup
3.Sbsetting หรือ Bosspref
4.Five Icon Dock [ข้อ4 นี้ เอาไว้กรณีที่ ก่อน เรา restore เราได้ใช้ five icon dock อยู่แล้ว ถ้าเราไม่เคยใช้ตั้งแต่แรกก็ไม่ต้องลงครับ]

10. กด restore from backup ที่ backup ไว้ครั้งล่าสุดกับ itune ครับ

11. หลังจาก restore from backup เสร็จให้เข้าไปที่ AptBackup แล้วกด restore ในโปรแกรมครับ จะเป็นดังภาพ

12. เสร็จแล้ว มันก็จะกลับมาเป็นแบบเดิมครับเหมือนก่อนเรา restore ครับ

ถ้า ก่อนเรา restore เราได้ใช้โปรแกรม Categories จัดหมวดหมู่ Apps ไว้ หลังจากขั้นตอนที่ 11 ให้ ไปที่ Sbsetting หรือ Bosspref ไป ตั้งให้ Icon ที่ Hide อยู่ จาก Off –>> On ซะนะครับ

หมายเหตุ ถ้า กด restore ดังขั้นตอนที่ 11 แล้ว มันไม่ยอม back up กลับให้เป็นแบบเดิม ให้ทำดังนี้ครับ

1.ลง OpenSSH จาก cydia

2.ใช้โปรแกรมจัดการไฟล์เข้าไปที่ ~/var/mobile/Library/Preferences

ให้ เอาไฟล์ 3ไฟล์ ที่ back up ไว้ตอนแรกที่มีชื่อ ดังนี้

1. aptbackup.cydiasources.tgz
2. aptbackup_dpkg-packages.txt
3. aptbackup_openssh.tgz

มาใส่ครับ

3. จากนั้นเข้าไปที่โปรแกรม AptBackup อีกที แล้วกด restoreด้านในโปรแกรมครับ

แค่นี้ก็เรียบร้อยครับ ลองเอาไปใช้ดูนะครับ

ขบวนการติดตั้งโปรแกรม

คลิกที่ Cydia icon บน Springboard

การ Update Cydia

ขั้นตอนในการ Upgrade Cydia

ใน กรณีที่เปิด Cydia และปรากฎข้อความให้ ‘Essential upgrades’. นั้นแสดงว่าใน Cydia application มีการ Update Application บางกรณีมีความสำคัญในการ installing new packages และ application เหล่านั้น

>> เลือก Upgrade Essential
>> เลือก Confirm to begin the download and install
>> รอจนสิ้นสุดการ เลือก ตามที่ Cydia กำหนด
>> กด home key, และเปิด Cydia ขึ้นมาใหม่

ขั้นตอนในการ Update Applications

เมื่อ มีการ installed applications ต่างๆจาก Cydia ในกรณีที่ Application นั้นๆมีการพัฒนาแก้ไข New version ออฟมา เมื่อเข้าไปที่ Cydia จะเห็นตัวเลข notification ข้างๆ “Changes” menu. แสดงให้เห็นว่ามีการ updates available จาก applications ที่มีการ install อยู่แล้ว.

การ update applications:

>> เลือก Changes
>> เลือก Upgrade All (#) [จะมีจำนวนแสดงที่มุมบนขวา]
>> เลือก Confirm เพื่อเริ่มทำการ download and installation

การ Removing หรือการ Reinstalling Applications

ขั้นตอนการ Removing หรือการ Reinstalling Applications

>> เปิด Cydia ฤยยสรแฟะรนื
>> เลือก Manage
>> เลื่อน Scroll และหา App ที่ต้องการ Delete ( Macman )
>> เลือก Macman
>> เลือก Modify [มุมบนด้านขวา screen]
>> เลือก Remove (ตรงนี้สามาร reinstall ใหม่ได้ในกรณีที่ application, ไม่ทำงาน หรือ มีปัญหา)
>> เลือก Confirm เริ่มเข้าสู่ขั้นตอนการ removing app
>> รอจนข้อความ Complete ปรากฎขึ้น, เมื่อเสร็จสิ้นแล้ว Application นั้นจะถูกลบออกไป ( Macman )

ความสามารถที่สำคัญของ Cydia Searching for Applications

Cydia เพิ่มความสำคัญของตัว Cydia ด้วยการเติมช่อง Searching.

บาง ครั้งจะลำบากในการหาตาม categories ต่างๆซึ่งมี Application มากมายในแต่ละส่วนของ categories ตัวนี้จึงเป็นส่วนสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการ ค้นหา Application ต่างๆได้ง่ายและสะดวกรวดเร็ว

>> เลือก Search
>> พิมพ์ชื่อ application หรือ description ลงในช่อง search ด้านบน
>> จะปรากฎ matching applications shown ขึ้นมา. ทำการ เลือก และ install ตามขั้นตอนของการ install.

การ Add/Delete Source

ขั้นตอนและวิธีการ เพิ่ม และ ลบ Source ที่ต้องการ

1. คลิก Cydia icon บนหน้า Springboard.

. เลือก Manage ด้านล่าง menu bar.

3. จะมีอยู่ 3 options ให้เลือก; 1. Packages 2. Source 3. Storage ทำการเลือก Sources option.

4. จะปรากฎรายชื่อของ sources ต่างๆที่ได้ installed ไว้แล้วและมีอยู่แล้ว.

5. ต้องการ เพิ่ม หรือ ลบ source, เลือก Edit ด้านมุมบนขวา.

6. เลือก Add ด้านมุมบนซ้าย.

7. จะปรากฎ pop-up ให้สามารถใส่ URL ของ source ลงไปได้ สังเกตุตัวอักษรในการใส่ให้ถูกต้อง ตรงนี้มีผลทำให้ Cydia ไม่สามารถ Add Source ต่างๆได้ เพราะ พิมพ์ค่า URL ไม่ถูกต้อง

8. เมื่อใส่ URL แล้ว, ให้เลือก Add Source.

9. รอจนกว่า sources จะ update เสร็จ แล้วเลือก Return to Cydia .

10. จะกลับไปสู่หน้า list of sources. เลือก Done ด้านมุมขวาบน. หลังจากตรงนี้ new source ได้ถูกเพิ่มลงไปใน sources list และ applications ที่อยู่ใน source ก็จะถูกเพิ่มเข้าไปใน Cydia.

ใน ส่วนของการ ลบ Source ต่างๆออกจาก Cydia list หลังจากที่ทำ ขั้นตอนที่ 5 แล้ว ในด้านชื่อของ URL ต่างๆที่ได้ใส่เพิ่มเข้าไปเอง จะปรากฎ สัญลักษณ์ เครื่องหมาย ลบ ในวงกลมสีแดง ถ้าต้องการลบให้ คลิกในตำแหน่งเครื่องหมายนั้น และเลือก Delete อีกครั้ง. ตัว URL นั้นก็จะถูกลบออกไปจาก list ของ Cydia.
