มีข่าวดีมาบอก iOS 5 jailbreak ได้แล้ว รออีก 2 วัน

อีกสองวัน คือวันที่ 12 ตุลาคมนี้ iOS 5 ตัวเต็ม ๆ ก็จะออกมาให้เราได้ใช้กันแล้ว

หลังจากที่ทาง Apple ได้ปล่อยตัว iOS 5 GM ออกมาให้ทดลองใช้กัน และ

มีคนถามถึงว่า เราจะสามารถ เจลเบรค iOS 5 แบบ untethered (ปิด-เปิด เครื่องได้เอง)

หรือเปล่า เรามีข่าวดีแจ้งให้ทราบกันว่า ตอนนี้เหล่า Hacker สามารถทำการ jailbreak แบบ

untethered ใน iOS 5 ไม่ว่าจะเป็น iPhone 4, iPad 2 and ทุก iDevice ได้แล้ว

(ใน Browser มันจะเว้นวรรคไม่ได้ ในพิมพ์ใน note แล้ว copy มาวางเอานะครับ)

iFaith โดยโปรแกรมนี้จะช่วยในการ dump ค่า SHSH Blobs จาก iOS Device เช่น iPhone 4, iPad รุ่นแรก และอื่นๆ มาเก็บไว้ เป็น SHSH file ที่เจ๋งก็คือ แม้ iOS version นั้นทาง Apple ได้ปิด การ signing ไปแล้ว ก็สามารถ dump ค่า SHSH Blobs ออกมาได้ ซึ่งธรรมดาแล้ว เราต้องรีบ เก็บค่า SHSH Blobs เอาไว้ ตอนช่วงที่ Apple เปิดการ signing iOS Version นั้นๆ อยู่ ซึ่งปรกติก็จะเป็น iOS ปัจจุบันนั่นเอง เช่นตอนนี้ Apple ก็เปิดการ signing ให้เฉพาะ iOS 4.3.3 ธรรมดาเราจะไม่สามารถ เก็บค่า SHSH Blobs ของiOS ก่อนหน้านี้ อย่าง iOS 3.1.3, iOS 4.2.1, iOS 4.0.1 ได้ เพราะ Apple ปิดการ signing ไปแล้ว

How to save SHSH blob of any older firmware running on your iPhone / iPodTouch / iPad

Step 1: Download the required file – Links posted below

Step 2: Make sure your iOS device is connected and make sure iTunes is not running

Step 3: Launch iFaith

Step 3: You will notice a disclaimer – Click Ok

Step 4: Here you will notice few options (Build Signed IPSW files. DUMP SHSH blob, Show Available SHSH Blobs & Use DFU Pwner) – Click on DUMP SHSH Blob

Step 5: Now, Click on Proceed & Click on Let’s Go

Step 6: Here, if you are saving SHSH Blob for your APple TV 2G, then click YES if not Click NO (for rest of the device – iPhone, iPodTouch & iPad)

Step 7: Now, Power off your iOS device – iPhone / iPad / iPodTouch – As show on iFaith screen

Step 8: Now, Click on Start and follow the on screen instruction to pu the device in DFU mode.

Hold both the power and home button together for exactly 10 seconds
Now, release the power buttom but, keep holding the home bottom for 15 to 20 may be till iTunes recognize your iPhone. (On DFU mode, you wouldn’t see any icons on the screen. It will be blank on the screen)
Step 9: Once the device is in DFU mode, iFaith will ask you where to save the SHSH Blob – Keep in mind that, the SHSH blob will automatically saved on iH8Sn0w server. But, it also give you an option to save it on your computer.

There you have it! Your SHSH blob is now saved.
