Personally, I feel the Flash 10.1 on Android 2.2 is not that bad. It’s generally smooth in many cases. But, the source has used iPhone and Windows Mobile devices to compare and try to prove that Flash is making everything slower. Note using the iPhone 3GS to compare seems not fair since Google Nexus One is HTC HD2 has a much faster processor. Speed may also vary depends on different conditions (like Wi-Fi reception). However, if we don’t take the loading time to count, we can still clearly see that Flash makes Android 2.2 a little bit sluggish.
Source has later re-tested with Flash 10.1 removed (after the break). This time, the Android 2.2 is much faster. We must aware that Flash 10.1 on Android 2.2 is currently in beta, and users have the option to install it or not. It’s good to have choices rather than no choices.
